Matson is a native Richmonder and licensed architect. From a young age he has cherished Virginia’s rich architectural history. The son of a contractor and grandson of an architect, building and design run in his blood. Matson specialized in historic preservation at the University of Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees. His experience ranges from the restoration of the UVA Rotunda to high end residential work. He enjoys spending time by the water where the built environment seamlessly enhances the natural beauty.
